Drake & 21 Savage: Her Loss

Drake dropped a new album with 21
savage last week and all I have to say
is: I love mid! Overall, this album
presents nothing new, nothing unique
or exciting, and the internet is
constantly reminding me what a creep
Drake is. Despite this, I love all the
gay Drake memes and I must admit I'm a
drizzy girl 4 life. There's something
so silly and sensitive about him that
I love. I like when Drake talks about
love and his lifestyle of making money
and treating women right; I care less
about him fronting like
he's a gangster (he's trying to be on
21 Savage's vibe and I wish he wouldn't). there's a couple songs on the album I have on repeat:

Hours in Silence -- "I gotta stop goin Van Cleef, third week" This is peak Drizzy sensitivity and lover boy status. A 6 minute song with three flow changes, it's basically Drake talking about how it's his fault that his girl is spoiled! As she should be.

More M's -- "Takin less L's, makin more M's / Put her Skims on now she actin like she Kim"
Drake is trying to catch up to 21 Savage's gangster vibe in this one and it sounds corny and cringe but I love it! Super catchy beat. I'd love to drive on the highway in LA at night with this song playing.

Spin Bout U -- "Four words when I think about them is crusty, musty, dusty, rusty / Eight words when I think about us is fuck me fuck me fuck me fuck me" 
This is one where 21 Savage is trying to match Drake's loverboy vibe and it's cute but he just can't compare to The Boy. Drake comes out as pro-choice on this song which is super funny and pick me. Very sexy song about being in love <3

walking around makes everything more
cinematic. He played me a few songs
off Untrue when we were laying in his
bed one Sunday night.

The next day, Halloween '22, I took his advice and listened to the album while I was walking back from work. It's true what he said -- Burial at low volume, watching trick-or-treaters, made life feel like a movie.

I want to make ambient music!!!!!!!

ALEX G CONCERT LAST NIGHT!!!!!!

I saw Alex G at Brooklyn Steel with Kn1ves last night. I guess I'm a fake Alex G fan, I only knew one song that he played (Mary, the last song). I think I would have had more fun at the concert had I known more of the songs.

Alex G and his band seemed like they were having so much fun on stage, which made them fun to watch. But overall, not an incredibly dynamic stage set nor performance. The crowd was a little uptight, but there were two songs that people started pushing each other around for. The vibes felt good!

I think the ideal place for an Alex G concert is at an outdoor festival in the summer afternoon. His music is not meant for indoor, dark lighting. If I had seen him off a couple shots from a snuck-in flask, I think it would have been a 10/10 concert experience.

I just wanna know....why didn't they play Bobby?!?!?!?! They had Molly on stage playing violin and piano and I assume she's the female vocalist on that track, the crowd kept yelling out to play it but they never did!!!! smh.
